With continued growth we are seeking additional resources that will be based in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan under Plant Department as Plant Supervisor.
Reporting to Plant External Repair and Warranty Superintendent, you will responsible to manage the components external repair at Suppliers and Vendors to ensure that the estimated time completion, PEX component movement, WIP are monitored to achieve the TCI requirements; complete Quote evaluation for under responsible component offsite repairs and record correctly, involve in failure analysis as required; ensure all under responsible component repairs are carried out in a cost effective and timely manner; involve in stripping down the component repair at supplier and vendors to ensure the reasonable quote is offered to Plant External Repair Group; provide the regular update to plant External Repair group for the component repair status (WIP).
This position requires minimum of Diploma or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Thiess apprentice graduate with minimum of 5 years experience as supervisor in similar role in the large mining or construction industry; extensive experience in mechanical trade and Plant External Repair & Warranty; exposure in Maintenance Management; familiar with Component Cost Repair and Quote analysis; knowledge components repair or rebuild essentially for Caterpillar components; good leadership skill and team work; able to make decision and justification, dedicated on supervision; good English communication skills in both written and verbal and computer literate.
